ii.Our data is as good as the filings.

Primary data flows from nseindia.com corporate filings, SEBI IFF XBRLs, NSE bhavcopy, and NSE SHP XBRLs. We parse them, cross-validate where possible, and surface disagreements via the bs_source field. We do not correct or interpret company-reported numbers beyond that. Garbage-in-garbage-out applies.

iii.Audit before you act.

Every material number in our API includes the xbrl_url for the underlying filing. Before making any real-money decision, verify the figure at the source. We disclaim warranty of accuracy, completeness, and timeliness — CF Workers can be down, NSE archives can vanish, filings can be restated.

iv.Courtesy to Screener.in

Some pre-FY22 balance-sheet data was backfilled from Screener.in with gratitude. Those rows are explicitly labelled bs_source: "screener.in" in every response. Please visit Screener.in for their far more comprehensive web tools.

TL;DR — We give you primary filings. Your broker gives you orders. Your research-analyst-friend gives you opinions. Don't confuse the three.
